If I change to a cassette with different teeth, do I need to buy new parts?
Not at all. This is a key advantage of WHALEROAD. Simply update the cassette specs in the App's "Cassette Selection" feature. Our algorithm automatically recalculates the derailleur trajectory, eliminating the need for complex mechanical adjustments.
What happens if the App disconnects during a firmware update?
The system has a failsafe mode. Simply reconnect and restart the update process.
Do I need to keep the App connected while riding?
No. Once configured, your settings are saved to the components. The App is only needed for updates or changes.
Will the WHALEROAD App receive continuous updates?
Yes, we regularly release updates with new features and optimizations.
