If I change to a cassette with different teeth, do I need to buy new parts?

Not at all. This is a key advantage of WHALEROAD. Simply update the cassette specs in the App's "cassetteSelection" feature. Our algorithm automatically recalculates the derailleur trajectory, eliminating the need for complex mechanical adjustments.

What happens if the App disconnects during a firmware update?

Don't worry. WHALEROAD firmware updates are designed with safety mechanisms. If the update is interrupted, the system will automatically roll back to the previous stable version. You can simply restart the update process when your connection is restored.

Do I need to keep the App connected while riding?

No, you don't need to keep the App connected while riding. Once configured, your WHALEROAD system operates independently. The App only needs to be connected during initial setup, configuration changes, or firmware updates. All your settings are stored directly on the hardware.

Will the WHALEROAD App receive continuous updates?

Yes. The WHALEROAD App gets regular updates with new features, performance enhancements, and compatibility improvements. We listen to feedback and build what riders ask for.
